Blue Fusion: Model 5300 Controller Motion control

The Blue Fusion 5300 automation controller features our latest motion control innovations. With its high speed architecture, it can accommodate up to 64 axes of motion control. And setting up those motion axes is now simpler than ever due to the 5300’s fully integrated QuickBuilder graphical development environment. The Model 5300's motion control hardware has the industry-leading features that provide the utmost in speed and flexibility: advanced floating point position loops, precision 16-bit torque or velocity command signal, point-to-point positioning, electronic gearing, and on-the-fly changeable trajectories. A high-speed motion processor in each motion control module offloads the main CPU processor, providing consistent motion response regardless of the number of axes. The Model 5300's software maximizes the performance and value of the Model 5300 hardware, integrating motion control functions with overall machine control in a single application. The QuickBuilder™ drag and drop interface uses easy to understand commands such as Move for distance in time. Motion library routines and variables are built into a multi-windowed programming interface that enables you to build a complete motion control strategy quickly.
